158 Hurontario Street Two-storey, brown-brick, L-plan masonry building with large, pale-green, steel-and-glass, lean-to volume at corner of intersection (c. 1970s). Description This modern building is perhaps the most incongruous structure on Main Street. The actual corner, rather than being emphasized, is negated by the lack of grandeur in the lean-to, metal structure. While the largely blank, masonry blocks at SE and NW corners are imposing, and the brick fin to the south is interesting, the building is inappropriate both to Main Street and to this corner location.
