191 Hurontario Street

Two-storey, buff-coloured, architectural concrete block with projecting, full-width, metal-shingled roof and steep, central gable (c. 1990).

Description – This recent insertion contributes little to Main Street. Two-bay façade has an opaque, three-pane window in LH bay and metal, pass-door in RH bay. Overhanging roof effectively hides modest, ground-floor signs. Gabled, verandah-type roof has Victorian Gothic overtones, but is both distorted and typologically inappropriate to this application and location.
