225 Pine Street

Symmetrical, one-storey, hip-roofed house with Angelstone base and metal siding (c. 1880).

Description – Building is initially inscrutable, but old, four-panel wooden door (behind metal storm) and large 2/2 windows (also having metal storms), with wide, recessed, wooden casings, indicate that something of interest is trapped within. 6/6 windows at sides of rear extension confirm belief that this is an old building. The mismatched cladding suggests an old, wood-frame house, probably originally rendered on wooden lath and now protected from damp by more durable, if less historically appropriate, modern materials.
