64 Third Street Towering, three-storey, Shingle Style, corner house with red-brick lower floor and shingled upper walls rising to huge gables (Eden Smith, c. 1890). See also Designation description. Ground Floor - Ground floor is of red brick, including projecting north bay, and sun room at east side. House appears to have two principal entrances, one at asymmetrical north porch (now a balcony) and one at east porch, tucked into corner between wings. Single wooden columns partially support roofs at both porches. Fenestration is eight-pane casement windows (much obscured by 1/1 metal storms), typically grouped in three. Second and Third Floors - Upper floors are clad in painted shingles extending to plywood-clad soffits at tall gables. Windows at this level are triple, six-pane casements (behind metal storms). A broad chimney-breast rises through eaves at east gable to simple, rebuilt chimney stack. Roof has brown asphalt shingles, and is penetrated by numerous plastic vent pipes. Outbuildings - To south is pitched-roof, 1½ storey Coach House with (sandblasted) red-brick base, board-and-batten gables, six-pane casement windows and simple, wall-head dormer at north pitch, containing loft door.
