2 ½ storey, red-brick, Victorian mansion with front gable and imposing chimneys (c. 1890).

East Ground Floor – One storey, red-brick addition with low, asphalt shingled, mansard roof addition is built off high cement-rendered plinth, and hides original, ground-floor, east elevation. Addition has pair of central, half-glazed, panelled doors flanked by panelled jambs, with wooden pilasters beyond. Entry has flat-roof, wooden porch supported at front by two attenuated, narrow columns. Fenestration to either side consists of paired 6/9 windows, with pair of simple wooden panels below and with hidden steel lintels above.

East Second Floor – Projecting block at LH side of façade has triple, 1/1 windows separated by brick piers and framed by round-headed, brick arches with hood-mouldings. Tympana are filled with diagonally laid brick over single, header-brick arch. Central façade (to right) has pair of narrow, 1/1 windows either side of wide brick pier, all set within elliptical arch built of rubbed-brick voussoirs and with hood-moulding. Tympanum is again filled with diagonally laid bricks over segmental arch of single course of header bricks. RH side of façade contains wider, 1/1 windows under round and segmental arches as described. Window sills are stone throughout, and all hood-mouldings extend horizontally to form high-level stringcourse.

Roof, Gables and Dormer – At east elevation, gable is set above projecting block, containing central pair of 1/1 windows set within wall of faced with unusual stone fragments. Lower face of gable is clad in plywood. Tall dormer to right is centred within roof, and has 2/2 window (behind metal storms). Dormer gable in ornamented by wooden, sun-burst motif framed by multiple fascia mouldings over modest, profiled brackets. Cheeks are finished with painted wooden shingles. Roof fascias throughout are narrow, soffits are small, and all are aluminum-clad, without gutters or RWLs. Roof is clad in black metal shingles..

South Ground Floor - Projecting bay at LH side contains pair of 1/1 windows with brick pier between, all within broad segmental arch built off stone springers, and with central keystone. At RH side, similar 1/1 windows flank projecting chimney breast, each being set under half of round arch with hood moulding, arch itself being divided into two by chimney. Tympana are, again, filled with diagonally laid brick over segmental arch, and sills are stone.

South Second Floor – 1/1, metal-framed windows are set above windows below, all with stone stills below and segmental arches with hood mouldings above. Chimney breast reduces in size with chamfered stone blocks at floor height.

Chimneys - At north and south sides of house, tall chimneys have three discrete bands of corbelling, of two, two and three courses respectively, and six corbelled courses at chimney-hdeas, below plain brick cap. Chimneys are braced by roof crickets which extend to either side, forming small gables, each containing a two-pane sash at either side of masonry.
