8 School House Lane Two-storey, half-timbered, pitch-roofed commercial building with upper-floor, gabled wings projecting to north (all of unknown age). North Elevation Elevation facing lane is historically inscrutable; if there is an older structure within, this is certainly well-concealed. Ground floor has plinth clad in reclaimed, buff-brick with thin limestone sills throughout, including at three modern bay windows. Wall above is finished with painted, textured render. Entry is by means of modern, half-glazed doors tucked under projecting wings with upper deck spanning between. Second floor has half-timbered aspect of painted render set within panels of Tudor-inspired, wooden framing elements. Second-floor windows are a variety of modern, both vertically and horizontally sliding. Soffits and fascias are plain, and roofs are clad in black asphalt shingles.
