135 Hurontario Street - N. Pt. Lot 19 Plan 282, By-law No. 92-50 Located on the east side of Hurontario Street between Second and Third street, its presence as an “anchor building” adds to the historical texture of the main street and as such it’s preservation and restoration is of obvious value to the community. The building was probably constructed between 1895 and 1905. The 3 upper windows are narrow, with segmental arches and projected hood mouldings outlined in a single row of corbelled brick. The unifying cornice of flat corbelled machicolation and double dogtooth band course is framed to the north by a pilaster pier ornamented with a rough textured brick panel, and to the south by the façade of the adjacent building. This two storey brick building shares a common cornice and parapet treatments with other buildings in the block.
