24 Fourth Street

Hip roof bungalow clad in vinyl siding, with various pseudo-heritage elements (c. 2000).

Description – Modern house offers interesting combination of formally old elements, made of modern materials, and grouped in an arbitrary, contemporary manner. Composition is essentially a long low rectangle, with offset gable. Pseudo-heritage elements are the (apparently) divided-light windows (made of PVC, or aluminum), simulated, six-panel, front door (made of pressed steel) with apparently divided (PVC) side-lights, (metal) shutters; and even the wide gable, with its lower, shingled pitch and small, octagonal (PVC) vent near peak. Single garage door at RH side is composed of painted plastic panels.
